Gaijin TV

Welcome to Gaijin TV! This is where you will find all of my video projects, from event coverage to cartoons. As the year progresses you will find these projects will grow and in some cases, change. You will need realPlayer to view these projects in streaming format, and the free download can be found here. Enjoy!

Cartoons and Film

These cartoons begin the exploits of Wormwood and The Raging Gaijin. As I continue down my educational path, the repetoire will expand. For now, these short cartoons are in chronological order of creation. Watch as I grow in the Art of Animation.

These shorts are in a Quicktime format. You can download the free Quicktime player here.

Cheers!

Flower Power

During the course of my animation education, I will be working on different exercises to practice techniques. The films you see here are those exercises.

Flower Power demonstrates display of emotion without use of facial features or words.

I am pursuing a degree in 3D Animation, which allows me the chance to entertain my son with cartoons that I have created. I am lucky to show my son that you can follow your dreams, walk the Left Hand Path, and succeed, and hopefully he will do the same when he comes of age. (He made me proud the day he turned to me and said "Dad, when I grow up, I want to be a video game designer." Groovy!)

I could not create such pieces without the invaluable help of my instructors, most notably Beth Sousa and Tom Meade. They have the chops and I recommend them to any student at the Academy of Art University.

Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves - ASC Music Video

The Academy of Art requires all students pursuing degrees in Animation learn how the production pipeline flows. This means we have to learn all of the steps in this pipeline, and the processes therein. As such I have learned the skills of Visual Effects Compositing, Editing, Directing, and Film Production. You can see these skills at work with the event coverage, yet I do take the time to do fun stuff as well. Here are projects that I have worked on for myself, as a way to practice, or for friends and family for special events.

Feel free to have fun!
